(„Royal Coal“ oder das „Unternehmen“) (TSX VENTURE: RDA)(FRANKFURT: RLC) teilt mit, dass es die Eisenbahn-Verladevorrichtung in Charlene (die „Charlene-Verladestation“) erworben hat, die sie seit Oktober 2009 gemietet hatte. Die Charlene-Verladestation liegt an der CSX-Bahnlinie und befindet sich in der Nähe der Big Branch-Mine des Unternehmens in Ost-Kentucky, wodurch ein Zugang zu industriellen Märkten und Versorgungsunternehmen gegeben ist. Bei der Verladevorrichtung handelt es sich um eine 4-St.-Schnellverlade- und Wiegevorrichtung mit einer Speicherkapazität von 68.000 Tonnen und einer Beschickungsanlage, die den Zugang zum hochpreisigen industriellen Markt eröffnet.

Die Durchsatzleistung der Vorrichtung beträgt über 2,5 Mio. Tonnen im Jahr. Der Gesamtkaufpreis der Charlene-Verladevorrichtung beläuft sich auf 5,5 Mio. Dollar.
